Babysitter Training with Pediatric CPR AED & First Aid

Heartsavers of Manatee offers American Red Cross Babysitter Training with Pediatric CPR, AED and First Aid in Bradenton, Florida. Designed for aspiring babysitters ages 11–16, this hands-on course helps young people develop the knowledge, responsibility and confidence needed to safely care for infants and children.

Students learn how to provide basic childcare, communicate with parents, manage common behavior challenges, respond to emergencies and build a successful babysitting business. The course also includes pediatric CPR, AED and First Aid training so students are prepared to recognize and respond to breathing emergencies, cardiac arrest, choking, injuries and sudden illnesses involving children and infants.

Classes are taught in a supportive, age-appropriate environment by Casie Piper, BSN-RN, BCEN, an experienced emergency nurse and instructor. Students receive hands-on skills practice, practical safety guidance and same-day certification cards after successfully completing all course requirements.
